We are currently looking for a top-notch IFA to join the Financial Services arm of one of the Top 50 Accountancy firms in the UK and one of the largest Independent Accountancy firms outside of Central London. The Financial Services practice has been so successful that they now deal with clients of other Accountancy and Legal firms. The role could entail a variety of Corporate and Personal HNW independent financial advice although the exact mix will vary depending on the location.

For Corporate work you will be working closely with a team of 5-8 local Small Business Banking Managers with small-medium Ltd Companies / Partnerships on their Protection / Pensions requirements in addition to the personal planning for the directors and partners. The Business Banking managers are generally targeted to produce £25k gross commission worth of leads per year so the potential to write business and earn bonus is good.

Your ability to develop internal relationships with these business introducers is key to your success - historically people from a bancassurance environment or IFAs who have worked with professional introducers are particularly strong at this.

For Personal planning you will receive leads from the branch network and the Private Client Banking division so again internal communication skills are important.

Prior experience of the corporate market varies based on the requirements of the local Sales Manager - but it is not often required so if in doubt, contact us to discuss.

IFA experience and/or AFPCs would be a plus - but again these are not essential.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The minimum Group HR requirements for ALL applicants are as follows:
1. Full FPC / CeFA or Equivalent

Home-Based Bank IFA £25-30k basic + car + unlimited bonus + final salary pension
According to the Financial Times, our client is one of the top 50 companies to work for in 2005. The sales force currently stands at 90 IFA's nationally with plans to grow this to 110 in the short term future. There are developments on the horizon which would require rapid expansion to 250 IFAs although there is no firm timescale at this stage. We are looking for driven applicants with the motivation and potential to develop themselves personally and technically with AFPC qualifications.

You will be set up to work from home and will be given a teritory to manage. The current set up does not provide warm leads so you should have a pro-active approach to prospecting from an existing client bank and gaining referrals. There may be developments in the future that mean you will receive a medium to high level of branch leads but this cannot be guaranteed. Therefore the role is probably best suited to those with an IFA, Direct Sales or Home Service background.

IFA Self-Employed with option to take £1500 pcm draw.
Established partnership of a national IFA practice are looking to recruit in a number of locations where they have an excess of leads.

Consultants will be home-based. They are looking for existing IFA's or tied people who want to become IFA's, with at least FPC 3 ( but they don't nee to be CAS), they would also prefer them to have MAQ/CEMAP.

They will pay an agreed % of Gross commission, this figure will be agreed at outset, and is usually around the 60% mark.

They will pay a guaranteed draw of up to £1,500 usually paid per month, but paid as £750.00 fortnightly. (which is a draw against future commissions). This is a schedule D, contract and is therefore paid Gross.

They are part of a larger European IFA Group with over 5,500 IFAs and 1.25 million private clients.

The Group has a holistic and lifetime approach to advisory services. Currently 64% of group revenue comes from long-term asset formation and retirement planning although their advisers do also get involved in Corporate and other areas.

They are looking for technically strong consultants - ideally demonstrated by AFPC qualifications or CFP status. However, you must also be able to demonstrate consistent production levels of at least £100,000 Gross Commission / Fees.

They are able to discuss both Schedule D&E contracts.

Independent Financial Adviser Self-employed with commission split up to 75%
Regional practice of this National IFA are looking to expand by recruiting a hungry and experienced adviser. This is a relatively young practice but the principle has over 14 years Financial Services experience.

You could be from either a Tied or IFA background but must have sufficient clients to support yourself initially. Full admin support is available and a marketing budget is available which will increase with your production levels. You should be producing the equivalent of at least 70-80k Gross Commission currently.

Leading regional Building Society Group are looking to expand their IFA financial services arm with a new policy to place a Financial Adviser in every branch.

They have a highly succesful sales force and as such, they are looking to continue their success by recruiting the right people.

Some of these branches will not currently be fully supporting 5 days a week but you will have full access to the client database so candidates with direct sales or home service history would be well suited to 'hunt' from this source in addition to branch leads.

You will need to have at least 3 years relevent experience along with Full FPC and Competent Adviser Status. Your persistency should be at least 90% and your current production should be the equivalent of at least £75,000 gross commission with a reasonably high level of appointments (8-10 1st / 4-5 2nds per week).

AFPC is highly desirable although not essential.

You should have reasonably competent IT skills as you will be using a laptop to run the electronic fact-find and product selection software.

On offer is a 25k basic + car or allowance + pensions + BUPA + banking benefits. Realistic 1st year earnings would depend on your experience of IFA advice and how quickly you can pick it up - a minimum of circa £33k, average of £40k and as much as £50-60k for the strongest candidates. Once you reach a certain level of production you will receive dedicated paraplanner support.

Our client has been established for over 160 years as one of London's leading Stockbroking firms. In the 2002 they launched a Financial Services team to work closely with the stockbrokers throughout their 18 regional offices.

This is primarily an office based role and you will be sitting with the stockbrokers and form part of the team - you will be involved with the team meetings and form part of the team bonus.

The firm is part of a multi-national Banking group and they currently take 5% (20,000) of the bank's premier clients based on income/assets along with 100,000 of their own clients. The majority of the clients are 'Old Money' and rarely receive financial advice.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential that you are not fazed by sitting in front of a client earning £2 million pa. All of your clients earn at least £300k pa or have non-property assets of £250k+. To this end there is a strong focus on IHT planning but this is fully holistic advice role with 25% of clients opting for a fee-based service.

It is essential that you are able to integrate with the stockbrokers and your HNW technical expertise will probably be evidenced by G10. Your current earnings must be at least £50k and should have experience working with high net worth introducers within a structured, managed environment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
